Canyon is currently looking for seasoned Bartenders for our Burlington location. In the role of Bartender you consistently provide our guests with an outstanding dining experience, which is achieved by adhering to our standards of quality and service.

As Bartender at Canyon Creek you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Ensuring the bar is ready for business before restaurant opens and while the restaurant is in operation (i.e. stock bar inventory, ensure cleanliness of bar area).
• Communicating with management prior to shift regarding special functions or events for the day.
• Greeting guests, offering suggestions of food, wines, specialty drinks and beers, and prepare drinks for the entirety of the guests stay.
• Communicating with management all guests concerns and handling guest concerns to the satisfaction of the guests.
• Prepare beverages for all guests within the bar and dining room.
• Providing optimum guest satisfaction and service
• Excellent use of your time management skills and attention to detail
• Ensuring your enthusiasm, infectious energy and ability spill onto other staff and guests

Minimum Requirements:

• 3 years of previous bartending experience in a high volume restaurant
• High school diploma or equivalent; University course work preferred
• Smart Serve Certification
• Available to work all restaurant operating hours
• Proficient in English verbal and written communication
• Knowledge of personal computer or ability to acquire appropriate-level skill at computer use and restaurant software
