Our Jack Astor's location in Newmarket is looking for Prep Cooks. As a Prep Cook you will be responsible for:
§ Communicate with management prior to shift regarding daily menu needs, special functions or events for the day
§ Ensure kitchen is ready for business before restaurant opens (i.e. inspects current stock levels, organizes prep area, informs MOD of low product levels and equipment problems)
§ Prepares food products (i.e. meat & vegetables) as per par sheet.
§ Maintain clean station floors, counters, tools, cutting boards and preparation surfaces
§ Ensure all utensils and equipment are brought to dish area and assist dishwasher when necessary
§ Assist on lines (deep fries and salads) during peak hours. |
