Canyon Creek Chop House®, which opened its first location in 1997, offers a casual and elegant atmosphere for lunch, dinner or late-night dining that is ‘simply perfect’. Prime rib, rack of lamb, baby back ribs, double pork loins and fresh seafood are but a few of the items found on this unique chophouse menu. We also feature an array of classic cocktails, Belgian drafts and 30 wines by the glass on our carefully selected wine list.
Our Square One location is looking for a Line Cook. As a Line Cook you will be responsible for:
§ Communicating with management prior to shift regarding daily menu needs, special functions or events for the day
§ Ensuring kitchen is ready for business before restaurant opens (i.e. sanitizes work area, stocks work area, prepares raw ingredients)
§ Preparing food items to company standards while also accommodating guests special requests
§ Inspecting food orders to ensure proper plate presentation, portioning and recipe adherence prior to sending food out to guests
§ Ensuring kitchen is kept clean and sanitized throughout shift and monitor product supply, replenishing when necessary
Job Requirements:
§ At least two years previous restaurant experience or culinary education
§ Food Handler Certification an asset
§ Ability to understand and follow direction from others
§ Ability to perform basic math functions
§ Reliable transportation to and from work
§ Available to work all restaurant operating hours |
